Mr. Hudgens, a Principal and Chief Information Officer at IEc, specializes in the design of information
management and decision support tools. Through database, Internet, and GIS-based technologies, he
assists clients in collecting, managing, and analyzing large quantities of data that are critical to
successful policy development and implementation. He frequently applies this expertise in the areas
of coastal and marine policy, climate change analysis, and natural resource damage assessment.
For instance, he has designed spatially-explicit models that allow users to explore the impact
of sea level rise on coastal properties and ecological services based upon varying climate
change and development scenarios. Mr. Hudgens holds a B.S. with Honors in Natural Resources from Cornell University, and a M.S. in Environmental,
Coastal, and Ocean Sciences from University of Massachusetts, Boston.
