High-performing organizations are collaborative in nature with a clear understanding of how their activities contribute to their overall mission and strategic goals. Executives and managers within these organizations analyze issues of concern, diagnose areas of improvements, and target cost-effective solutions. With a firm grounding in business practice and management theory, IEc assists public- and private-sector clients in understanding the characteristics of high-performing organizations. We focus in particular on the development of a compelling mission, the strategic use of partnerships, customer satisfaction, and people management. In collaboration with an organization's top-level executives and front-line managers, IEc staff map the current organizational structure and assess corresponding strengths and weaknesses. On the basis of our findings, we develop a framework for moving the organization onto a path of higher performance.
