IEc is well-known for its expertise in analyzing the increasingly critical issue of how economies might be affected by global climate change. Our work has included modeling the effects of sea level rise on U.S. coastal structures and development; analysis of economic damages resulting from domestic agricultural productivity changes; and characterizing public perceptions of climate change and its impacts using survey research techniques. IEc staff also collaborated on a published volume that integrates the results of several projects, funded by the Electric Power Research Institute, on the economic impacts of climate change.
